Studio G Update

Dear Friends and Clients,

Due to an increase in overhead costs, we find it necessary to increase our rates. These costs will be shared between the studio and instructors. Any new clients will enter under the new rates beginning January 1, 2019. However, for our current clients this increase will be effective January 15, 2019. All current packages will retain their value.

What’s a pre-trainer?

glad you asked! the title, on it’s own, sounds like the equivalent of a training bra. it’s actually more like a nursing bra… but we’re not here to debate titles and bras… today. 

as of summer 2017, i am a GYROTONIC® Level I Pre-Trainer. this means that i am both a GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® certified trainer, have been accepted to a master trainer’s network, completed the training and update courses required, and that i am approved by headquarters.

all of which sounds like a heap of nothing to most folks. 

so! here’s your real answer!

in addition to teaching wonderful clients and fun classes, i now teach the GYROTONIC® Level I Pre-Training Course. this course can help people deepen their understanding of the system, or it can serve as the first course in one’s process of becoming a certified trainer. either way, we get to spend time experiencing the wonderful world of GYROTONIC® in our bodies!

in january of 2018, i had the honor of teaching my first Pre-Training Course. we had a great time! i’m looking forward to teaching the course again this may or june. please let me know if you’re interested. i’ll be glad to send you more information.

Exciting New Offer!

GYROTONIC® Group Tower Classes

Over time, clients have expressed interest in a group tower class. I’m making it a reality for the summer on a trial basis with a special price. Time to take action and see who will join me! Each class will have four spots for clients and cost $25. You may contact me to reserve a spot. First come, first serve.

Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am
May 25th, June 15th, July 6th

It would be great to continue on a regular schedule starting in August! I will certainly welcome requests and feedback about scheduling or interest in this class.

Teaching Philosophy

These words are currently part of my teaching philosophy:
What a privilege we have to move with choice and expression, a great duty to work hard, and a pure joy to live a life full of both. As I lead, I learn and am thankful to be learning. I truly value and try to assist all who are at least willing in their process. I become additionally inspired by those who are thoughtful yet ecstatically hungry as they go.
Language choices may shift over time. I aim to keep this in my day to day pocket which is where my mind, heart, and strength seem to mingle. We all have our rough and tumbling, tumbling… moments. The essence of it could stand to be constant for a while though. Well – at least as far as I can sense and move for the moment. How do you choose to move, work, and live with the gift of each new day?
